![]() ![]() The team goes to the location and find a tombstone marked "Michael Knight R.I.P. They discover a message: longitude and latitude coordinates. As he does, the holographic image of Shadow disappers. A sphere-shaped electronic casing labeled "K.I.T.T." rises from the center console, and Mobius removes it. Mobius says that he's taking Shadow with him. Shadow tells Mobius that it was only a matter a time before Mobius figured out who he was. He enters the situation, where Shadow is waiting for him. Later On Sky One, Mobius activates a working mind control device and rolls unnoticed past Gil the mechanic. Kyle and Jenny narrowly escape, leaving Shadow trapped behind. As Shadow is about to reveal Mobius' next target, the building starts to explode. Shadow tells Kyle and Jenny that everything that Mobius has done to them has been related, and that Mobius has been trying to get to him. Although they are suspicious, Kyle and Jenny go to meet Shadow while the rest of the team waits outside. K.I.T.T.(as Shadow) calls for a secret meeting with Team Knight Rider in an abandoned office building. And he then began possing as a mysterious man named shadow trying to help the TKR team. Most likely placed there by Michael Knight or Devon Miles. K.I.T.T.s main CPU unit had apparently been housed inside Sky One without anyones knowledge. Devon's answer is that KITT's primary function is the preservation of human life, and Michael's in particular. when Michael asks Devon Miles if KITT will protect anyone driving it. Unlike KARR, KITT is programmed primarily to protect Michael and all human life at all costs. KARR was later deactivated and placed in storage while KITT was given to his new operator, Michael Knight (the new identity of Michael Long). KARR was programmed for self-preservation, but this proved to be dangerous to the Foundation's interests. His predecessor was KARR, the Knight Automated Roving Robot. KITT was in fact the second vehicle built by Knight Industries with artificial intelligence. However, Wilton saw better use for "him" in the Foundation's crime-fighting crusade and eventually the system was installed in the vehicle. KITT's main cybernetic processor was first installed in a mainframe computer used by the United States government in Washington D.C. KITT must be black with tan interior.KITT was conceived and designed by the late Wilton Knight, a brilliant but eccentric billionaire and founder of the "Foundation for Law and Government", (commonly shortened to "FLAG"), and its parent Knight Industries. Part of the problem with all the reboots since the original went off the air is that they used different colors if I'm not mistaken. But I just think the C8 is perfect and the first perfect car befitting KITT since the '82 Trans Am. ![]() ![]() Knight Rider was my second favorite show growing up right behind the Dukes so I'm with you on everything you said. I agree with you on every car all the "reboots" have used over the years since the original, they've all sucked. I think that until the C8 there was never a car that had the right lines of the 1982 Trans Am, especially in black. It would be more disappointing to see KITT with the bulkier exterior that most new cars behold. It'd be nice to see KITT with LEDs, aerodynamic grill vents, and an up to date interior. I would be okay if they would at least innovate on the older model, or do a body swap on a car that still adheres to some of the classics while being fresh and new. If they ever bring back this KR reboot they've been going on about for 4 years, I think they should bring the original KITT. It's like having your favorite TV character's actor being replaced with someone totally different. I never liked the idea of replacing the original KITT with another car. ![]()
